Wakeup Call Poem by Sankaranarayanan Madavu

Wakeup Call

Wake up call
A little birdie chirping,
wake up all, the sun is in
the day is here, toil is near
and much to do before the dusk.
My sleep is broken,
but the feeling is sweet,
as the new day starts...
to begin afresh,
leaving behind,
all my sorrows of the days before.
The golden rays bring afresh,
all the beauty to my life.
