Wake Up From Your Slumber! Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Wake Up From Your Slumber!

Wake up from your slumber!

Life is full of surprises;

My oratory will catch you young and, change your responsibilities.

Scar, bar, car, tar!

The impact,

Emerging forces;

With the task ahead.

Oblivion,
Allowed;

To enhance your image,
And to focus on your vision.

Cream, scream!
Natural reason,
With the muse of the season.

Turbulent times!
The struggle,
Hustle and bustle;
With the ways of life.

Law abiding Citizens! !
Troubles so set in like the rain,
When others break the laws;
In the land of the living,
Able to see our works on earth.

Listen to my story and let me touch your heart with my muse!
In obedience of the truth;
Men, women and children! !
Having the faith of the truth;
Because, the truth is forever.

Main, lain, brain, drain, rain, chain, pain, train, stain, strain!
Love and life,
Love at first sight;
With the delight of your muse like the Golden Temple.

Wake up and live,
Wake up from your slumber!
Listen to the voice of the truth And,
Live in peace with your neighbours.

Lust, drugs and sex!
Lost in the wind without the truth;
Eager to learn,
Better for the future!
All in the name of righteous laws.
