Waiting For You Poem by AMyth Kulkarni

Waiting For You

You see me but then you don’t
As if for me you were blind
I would give away my soul
To know what’s on your mind

Isn’t it clear what I feel for you?
Can’t you read my eyes?
And isn’t it unfair
That all I see in yours is lies

Or is it that I am blind too
And there is nothing for you to show?
Have I lost my way?
The truth do I refuse to know?

Should I blare it out all aloud?
Tell you everything I feel?
But then words can never tell the tale
That my eyes could never conceal

I have not and will never change
Nor will my feelings for you
I will wait forever
But now I will not pursue

If you ever remember and believe
What my eyes once said was true
Just turn around and see
I will be waiting behind the crowd for you
