Waiting For Death Poem by Christon SykesSmith

Waiting For Death

Rating: 4.5

Sleeping in the shadow of death
Waiting for its cold embrace.
But it never comes,
Sitting in the dark curled up and defenseless.
But your not dead.

Cry in a ball of you own sorrow
But no one cares no one ever will.
Cutting yourself over and over again
Just to see if it hurts.
But your not dead.

Trying to put on a mask but,
Every one you put on has a crack,
Revealing a glimmer of pain.
Suffering without a reason over again.
But your not dead.

Some seeing the pained expression but,
Not understanding the situation.
Not realizing that your on the brake of death
Cant take it anymore and final.
Your through.
Ya you're dead.
