Waiting
I'm in this room
But I'm everywhere else
I'm anywhere but
I'm wherever I want.
My ears full of lyrics
My head filled with words
My eyes full of options
But my lips spill nothing.
Hands tracing the page
Use a pen for expression
For if no other way out
My soul might go numb.
Time is my ally
Its dark space my Earth
I can rule it alone
Till you know me.
Choose me.
Join me.
