Wait A While Poem by Mysia Hayling

Wait A While

Rating: 5.0

You make me lose my head,
but a hungry heart needs to be fed
Before I go to bed
enough is said.
Open your heart to me
say what is on your mind,
Let me know what is inside
I hope you have nothing to hide.
Show me you care and your love is not dear
because pain I can't bear.
Please tell me I have nothing to fear
and there is a life you want to share.

Don't say things because you want me for a day
Because I won't feel the same way.
You got game and a lot of sweet talk
but I have to wonder
If your willing to do the walk to my heart or depart.

Are you not able to wait patiently?
Or do you need to live freely.
If you want me or need me,
let me be, for love is free.
You can live your life wild
but I'm still a child.
You're a man
and I'm not yet a woman.
You love my smile
But can you wait a while.
