i always wait for you
This wait has become a part and parcel
of my life.Though i detest waiting,
i end up doing the same.

Everytime you extend
the duration of the wait,
The waiting time becomes a rocking chair,
stray thoughts hover my mind
about your well being.
I try to keep busy but i get nowhere,
my thoughts are always with you.

life becomes more dull.
I pass time waiting for
the moment of bliss
when you will knock the door,
embrace me in your arms,
and i willl be in my ultimate sanctuary,
confident, self-assured and
at peace with myself.

all the lonliness
which surrounds me in your absence
withers away
and i blossom in your presence.

i just want to tell you
by writing this poem that
dheers i love you and
with you i am utterly complete
and without you half dead.
