Wailing Poem by Okoemu Okoemu Okoemu

Wailing

Hey ooooh!
Power is evil!
Wealth is devilish!
For the quest to return to power,
For more wealth accumulation,
You sit like a player, in the Rock,
Wearing a face that depict you are a saint,
In the inside you are purely Devil's sent,
To destroy,
Oh! Wealth is devil
Power is Devil.
Such a heartless heart you now have,
Dwelling at the centre of the house,
Seeing and hearing pains of the poor,
Slaughter and slain like Christmas and Sallah ram,
Their properties stolen and destroyed,
They wail, but no one hear them,
You did, but acting like you don't
You know who the killers are,
You see them everyday,
They are your friends,
You still eat and drink with them,
Are you comfortable hearing the voiceless wail?
Why are you doing this?
Just to return to the rock!
You let the hearts that fought, supported and cheered for you,
Wail.
Oh Power! Oh Wealth!
What spirit is in you both?
That, he could so easily forget his road?
You have the power, you are in the position, in 1960s,70s, maybe 80s, your father and mother were once the victims,
Tell me you were happy!
Act like one who once felt it,
Let power go, let wealth go,
Be content,
Do what's right,
Let go the quest.
