Voice Of Silence Poem by Rini Shibu

Voice Of Silence

Rating: 5.0

Listen to the voice of silence
At  night when the whole world is asleep
Where there is nothing to distract you
You will realise  that
there exists no place on earth
without its own voice
Listen to the music of nature
The wind swirls and twirls
And reach out to you
to whisper a new song
Raindrops and clouds play orchestra
on a melancholic rainy night
Leaves talk to the swaying trees
about the chirping of birds
The splishing and splashing
of waterfalls and rivers
And the roaring waves of the sea
echo in your ears
And at last when you shut down
the doors and windows
to sense the utter silence
The crickets and lizards still talk to you
Then close your eyes and sleep
Still your breath and heart sings a lullaby for you

THREE: A magisterial poem, a special piece of art all those references of sounds and that flawlessly goes from one to the other, all intertwined in this poem. I have great admiration for the poetess. I enjoyed this magnificent poem intensely. A 10 and much much more for the Voting.

TWO: it ends with a sound that we no longer hear, because we are already sleeping, but even that has a sound. Very nice knitted, Rini.
