Voice Poem by Rhiscx The Seventh Avenger

Voice

Sheathe your swords and lay down your arms
Face it you’re not soldiers return to your farms

Did she crush your mind? No heart left to break
Wanted her to pay for all the memories that were fake?

Laughing at you from a cult in the far off distance
Making you wish the stone you threw would hit that instance

Revenge will get you nowhere, at least not in this life
To kill her now will only increase your prolonged strife

Make her wait, tell her that hell is waiting quite patiently
When in reality, hell is only a place we visit occasionally

Outrageously we operate unmistakably
Courageously we were silenced gravitationally

Remember my voice, when I had guided your hand
Wait, you don’t even remember when I had you stand?

Blink of an eye all her friends gone
Why has everyone left her alone?

Still cannot find me? Why do you seek me?
When tenaciously your mind isn’t free

Realizing too late this isn’t a dream
Crime is no match for vengeance gleam

Take a look this place seems quite familiar
This is the place where you died as a killer

Glance at your wrist, that watch is shattered
Dirt clogs the gears, time is now flattered

Ahahaha now don’t you see?
I gave you vengeance, you set me free

Return now to the empty grave corpse
Before my contract begins to show remorse

They say revenge is best served cold
Yet I never knew your body was so old

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A wronged lover dies in war, yet a voice from beyond has plenty more.
