Victors Poem by Sathya Narayana

Victors

I was buying a sweater
From Nepali hawkers
A nude monkey gibbered

To Tsunami sea
An angler offered all his wealth, with a smile
His loin cloth

Rain abated
People are still locked in homes
Outside busy ant's queue

Doused was forest fire
Within minutes came out of burrows
Rats squeaking

I wondered
Who conquered
The nature
