My palpitating gratitude,
Is Always alive for you,
As if it were a living heart
So grateful,
For all the deep, sincere affection
You give me thru and thru
Since the very, very start,
That our friendship grew.
Your light reaches,
Greatest heights,
And your poetry
Illuminates our lives,
With a different touch
That delves deeply,
Into all that lives
And says, so very much.
Your sensitive, spiritual flight
So full of human kindness,
Love to spare for weaker, others
Inundates the poems
That you write
And that are loved, so much!
How could I not rejoice?
In having such a beautiful soul
As a friend and who
Even wants me around.
My dear, dear friend is like
A blend of moon and cloud,
Illuminating life's night,
A dreamer that surrounds
And also so reassuring
To have around,
As long as we're together
Our lives, will have
A more than happy sound!
Thanks goes to you dear Sandra, for your love of poetry, poetry truly places ourselves out there for others to see, and if friendship occurs from the writings of a poem....then poetry has served the greatest purpose, great poem!
One of the most beautiful poems I have ever read on gratitude that only a Poetess of great heart could ever weave, So beautifully written and heartwarming. Poetry may not be blessed with material wealth but with this kind of creation tantamounts to blessings a thousandfold. Onto my Poem List.

Yes, Sandra, This is a jewelry box of gratitude and flows like a mountain of jewels running through our hands and fingers as if, we, your friends are newly found treasures to you... whilst you, Our Sandra, are also a rare jewel in this treasure chest of poets and poetesses. May we all take your words to heart and soweth them down deep. Lest we forget our worth is far more than rubies, diamonds, and the fairest of all gems and jewels...a crown of Love! Gio
