Vermin Poem by Bob Axell

Vermin

The vessel crawls
Through the hall
Onto the chair
Into her shawl

Don't start a riot
Don't start a brawl
Don't you panic
Don't you fall

The vessel runs
Scared away
Into the night
And through the day

It's learned it's lesson
And will now stay
In the forest
Where it belongs.
