Verbena, flowering plant be
Long used in healing medicine,
Having great healing quality,
Deemed as a divine force, amen.
From long ago in ages old,
Tales of the plant's healing detailed.
There was one legend that be told.
Upon a cross Jesus was nailed,
And when his body was brought down,
Bleeding from wounds in hands and feet,
There was brought this plant of renown,
In desperate effort to treat.

The placement of verbena done,
Staunching wounds of God's only son.
