Vengence Poem by Jacquelyn Burge

Vengence

Rating: 5.0

Beneath the burning stars,
beneath the waning moon,
when day has burned the scars,
of the flaming noon
And so i say to you
if love possess your heart
when nights cool strife is through
bid love to part
The living night, is something that took flight
remember and avenge the scars
and pain will die soon
Beneath the Burning Stars,
the waning moon.

Forgiveness is by far a more satisfying emotion than vengeance. Lovely poem nicely penned in good rhyme scheme with conviction. Thanks for sharing.
