Valentine's Day Fountain Poem by Marilyn Lott

Valentine's Day Fountain

Rating: 5.0

Did you ever see a fountain?
Of streaming chocolate fondue?
Pouring down like water
In a liquid-chocolate spew?

Combined with lots of fruit
Grapes both purple and green
Juicy and delicious
Nothing like it can be seen

And then there's squares of cake
Oh yes, so sweet and moist
Put them on a stick
It's all your personal choice

Let's not forget the cherries
So bright and beautiful red
Dip them in that fountain
Oh, nothing else needs said

It's almost like in heaven
I'll bet there's chocolate there
Tall and beautiful fountains
Chocolate sweet and bare

Waiting just to cover
Sweet fruit and luscious cake
Oh yes, it's gotta be heaven
All for Valentine's Day's sake!
