Utah's War Poem by Darwin Henry Beuning

Utah's War

Rating: 4.5

So pious,
The leaders of Utah land

Who now, wage a War
In the Land of Zion

Against those,
Who have no defense

'The Homeless'

Lately, a TV commercial
Not to give

As money
Supports their habit

'Assuming the worst'

For most,
Their habit is staying alive!

Being homeless is not a sin
The sin, is for those who turn away

'Give if you can'

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
0600am,8 September 2017. The Utah pious have designated an area in Salt Lake City that will only be accessible to the homeless. The homeless will be issued identification cards and only they will be allowed to enter. Beware, the wrath of the Lord!

That's crazy! So the homeless can go into that part of the city but I can't? I need to hear more about their reasoning on this one.
