Use Your Own Language

Rating: 5.0

Use your own language
And gain heaven
Use your own language
And be victorious
By keeping your identity
In tact and save
Use your own language
And enjoy the sovereignty
Of the earth.
Arise and awake
And work for the people
Sincerely and enthusiastically
For the sake of language. Remember,
It is too late!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem is devoted to the people of Odisha, India. Odisha was came in to being on I st April 1936 only on basis of Odia language. But till date the people of Odisha are not getting any letter, order, judgement from state offices or subordinate judiciaries. This is really disgrace and undemocratic. The Govt is taking away the language of the people.
