Up On Bass Lake Poem by David Darbyshire

Up On Bass Lake

Rating: 3.9

As we drove along the winding track
Stopped the car and got out our Pack
We all took-off to the end of the Dock
And jumped in the water for a Cold Shock! ! !

After a couple of min's it was nice and Warm
Then all the water sports we would Perform
Tubing, Diving, Fishing, Swimming and Splashing
Sometimes one dropped there shorts and began Flashing

But up on Bass Lake that water we could Drink!
Makes you want to stop and Think
How clean and beautiful the earth used to Be
But now it's Polluted, and nothin's gonna change
As far as I can See
