I will write
until I can no longer see
until I can no longer feel
the pain
inside of me.

I will see
until I can no longer dream
until I can no longer feel
the pain
inside of me.

I will dream
until I can no longer think
until I can no longer feel
the pain
inside of me.

I will think
until I can no longer feel
until I can no longer feel
the pain
inside of me.

I will paint
until I can no longer see
until I can no longer feel
the pain
inside of me.

I will love
until I can no longer hurt
until I can no longer feel
the pain
inside of me.

I will hurt
until I can no longer cry
until I can no longer feel
the pain
inside of me.

I will cry
until I can no longer be
until I can no longer feel
the pain
inside of me.

And then I will be gone...

Another lost soul
To be carried
into the Great Beyond.
