Unseen Poem by William Kofoed

Unseen

In dark of night

I am wont to walk

Quietly passing

Avoiding the light

Seeing no one

And not being seen

Free of people

I would be

Most have never

Been a friend to me

Turned within

Turning away

Finding no joy

In light of day

Nor within the

Company of man

Go in darkness

Go alone

Be in peace

Unseen by man
