Unrestricted 'she' Poem by Manoj Malik

She is born
in a society
which sometimes consider
her a thorn
It may be
bad to hear
But, she is not aware
that she will be judged
on what she wear..

If a male modernise
and follow new trend
He is appreciated for
his style factor
And if ‘she’ does the same
everyone might give an
unnecessary statement
on her character
More than the fact
that she is also a human
what is more important
is her gender..

She is considered weak
till she die
Oh! Please! Can you give
a single reason, WHY?

You fake to be superior
She have every right to be equal
All she need is courage
to fight for herself
so that she can answer
her own questions when
she look in the mirror..

I have learned
how to treat the girl
who will enter in my life
Or I should refer her as
my future wife
Instead of dominating,
I will admire
her and make sure,
she is free from every wire
that ties her economically, socially
or culturally
So that she can enjoy her
life peacefully…

If you are enough wise
and gentle
Here is my only advice,
“Dont make her cry
Let her fly
as a free bird
in the clear sky”…….
