at times i feel like giving up
but then you come and lift me up,
i feel like i should just run away
but you tell me not to worry,
when you left me i fell apart
i looked toward drugs and ripped my heart out
drugs were not the answer but things happen
now i have straightened up
but not because of you
because i found the one i love
my life is great
but i still think about you at times
and then i know those times are gone and
i look into my lovers eyes and everything
bad just floats away with all the memories i had of you.
