Universe's Pain Poem by Sharad Rajimwale

Universe's Pain

Rating: 5.0

Someone clamped his hand
on her mouth.
Words thundered and rumbled
inside her throat
and became raging fire
in her heart
which consumed her completely.

Now she has become the soft wind
placid water
empty space
of immeasurable blue sky.

Hats off to you. I have no words to express my thanks for this amazing poem. In a couple of innocuous looking words you have explained the muzzled torture and then the ultimate sacrifice of a noble soul. Her pain has cascaded into a universal pain. Well done.
