Unicorn Moon Poem by Dan McGonagle

Unicorn Moon

When you gaze upon the silvery Moon
Set high in the inky black sky
Do you sense the magic in the air
Can you hear the Unicorns sigh

Do you hear the patter of spiritual hooves
As they gallop across the lake
Do you see the flash from their fluted horns
Have you noticed they leave no wake

As you gaze at the Moon on a summer night
Does your mind ever float away
To see visions of fairies and elfin folk
In a dream thats as bright as day
