i cant believe it
no it seems impossible
you whom i gave my heart to
i entrusted my life into your hands
how could you betray my love for you
how could you tear me apart so voilently
am standing here too torn up to cry
i can feel my heart racing
why? why? why? i keep asking
yet you look in my eyes and lie
telling me you never cheated
when the proof lies bare
you betrayed me, betrayed our love
what didnt i do or what did i do wrong?
i thought i, d found an angel
someone to rescue me from loneliness
i thought i was safe at last
but i was walking on eggs
and when they cracked up and spilled
my heart went along with them
easy come, easy go
i should have known better
