I know the truth is hard to see
When you make it up like me
And you will think back to these days
Never to understand my ways
I took my time back from you
I didnt know what else to do
I couldnt take another fight
I'd rather sleep alone tonight

I tried to feel this time for real
But I didnt know the way
I couldnt talk I really tried
I just had to walk away

Another time another day
It might not have ended up this way
But then I'd still feel the same
Just keeping on with the game
I had to do what I had to do
I would have hoped the same from you
No sense in suffering another day
I hope you understand my way
