The dark weighs in on me,
As I sit in my room,
My door closed,
Crying.

My heart bleeding,
And yet I must not cry loudly,
But keep my sadness hidden,
From the world.

No one can know,
How much pain lives inside me,
Because there is no clear reason for it,
Except life itself.

And many people do not,
Understand the reason,
Tears scar my face,
And I wonder....

If you knew why I have myself,
Locked in my room,
Why I do not smile,
And why I cannot laugh...
