Under Blue Skies Poem by Ayman Parray

Under Blue Skies

When the days are bright,
The nights are young
And over bonfire lights,
Songs of peace are sung
When a glorious sun,
Smiles upon your face
And your smile makes,
The world a better place
When deer flock,
In lush green meadows
And gone forever,
Are a past life's shadows
When rainbow hues,
Golden spiders weave
And sparkling dew drops,
Fall off silver leaves
When a fresh snowfall
Starts the new day
And the beauty of twilight,
Embraces you every-way
When in your eyes,
There are no tears
Neither agonizing troubles,
Nor worldly cares
When seagulls take flight,
To undying lands
And eternity lies,
Within your hands
When walking at night,
Fireflies light your path
And love's radiance your guide
To every action's aftermath
When raindrops create,
A rhythm musical
Echoing throughout,
The realm spiritual
When joy is unending,
In the heart
And all everlasting,
Everything a fresh start
When by the Creator's grace,
All sorrows cease
The soul finds comfort
And the mind is at peace,
You will be surrounded by,
All those you ever loved
Under blue skies,
Celebrating love
For the mortal life,
Is a verse in time
All poets die,
Before their prime
