Unconditional Love Poem by Rachel Martin

Unconditional Love

blinded by the light for what you cannot see
there dweling an Angel so beautifully
slash after slash you whipped her so hard
still her love for you she sings
not knowing how unconditional love can be
you ignore her and watch TV
not knowing the day is coming soon
when another will be born, on another moon
boxes filled with unwanted stuff
memories compacked in a little charm
lucky i am to be with thee
how deeply my pain seeps in my heart
how another minute i cannot gather
but your pain is no where near match
you've tied up your heart with an ugly latch
