Unanswered Questions. Poem by Masala Joseph

Unanswered Questions.

He told me to hold thee, whenever i need guidance.
I held thee, observed the sea, and found myself running with the lions.
I held thee, continued my journey, and tried to master triumph.
I held thee, with only three, three wishes for reliance.
I asked for only one wish.
Silence.
I needed complete silence.
I wanted he who instructed me to hold thee, to listen to the last few words i'll speak of.
Was it he who instructed me to hold thee, wanted me to hold love?
I lost my thoughts, forgot my question, and ended the rest of my life.
I tried to find all the answers to all my questions, and all of God's advice.
As soon as i died, I found my soul self-consciously thinking...
I wasted my life, without living it, on a stupid sacrifice.
