Ugly Vulture Poem by G. Akanji Olaniyi

Ugly Vulture

Away you go! This ugly vulture
Though I know that scavenging is your culture
My precious blood will never be your furniture
Seek other places to do your agriculture
Even if you learn to do acupuncture
You shall for ever remain a caricature
Odious and rejected in stature
You can never change your picture
Though so much blood you can capture
For the good Lord had me a fortified structure
