I am hiding from the crowd behind the fence
Standing my ground in defense
I am a reject, I am a mistake
I am at death's gate
They're aiming for me
The entire riot is looking for me
And I'm hiding here
Fearing my only fear
Being burnt on the stake
Is this god's sake?
Sitting in the corner waiting
Here and then almost fainting
I can't sleep, I can't feed
This was never my deed
All the things you said
Are still here in my head
When you found me
And sat suffering with me
Holding my hand
And said 'Let's go to a land
Just you and me
Out beyond the sea
A utopia for you and me
Only us, you and me'
You took me and we ran
As far as we could, we ran
I am now free
In this utopia with you only to see
Without you there's no me
You saved me
And now it's my time to return the favor
With you here as my savior
