Two Victims Of The Time Poem by Besma Jemaa

Two Victims Of The Time

If you started noticing me getting old,
Remember that you are a few years ahead of me
If you once heard me snoring
Bare in mind that all the family burden in on my shoulder lying
If, now, you started realizing my hair is thinning
For how long you, bold-headed have been
If you see all this in me and about me
Be sure that you have never loved me
