Two Very Early Short Poems
The tree limb
from which the bird has just flown
rocks in the early morning light.
A solitary raindropp
at the beginning of a shower
loses itself in the pond.
I like these even though they are short. Especially the first. The reader can build up a mental picture around it. In mine, the tree limb is laden with frost, the sun is just coming up and the silence is deafening. Nice work, Art. Love, Fran xx
