Two Hands Poem by Danzen D...

Two Hands

Rating: 5.0

That moment so pulling..
Refuse, I cannot
This beating gets stronger,
this pulse of my heart

I haven't been thinking
what I should have done,
for those simple minutes
made glad this sad heart

Yet my hands denied my..
my orders to stay.
That the further they went
Less thinking I did.

'Stop! ' to my mind
I thought in so loud,
But body ignored..
Now my heart burns with fire

Could not bear to turn,
to gaze at her eyes..
For fear of rejection..
fear of being apart.

But I gathered my strength..
To ask for this time,
to grant these old wishes,
My deepest desires.

My eye met an eye..
A sear on my soul,
a wound so delicious..
This passion so strong.

Her stare was of care,
affection, concern.
She saw through my heart...
In turn I saw hers..

Now behind all those people,
within that packed crowd...
Were two hands together...
And two hearts entwined.
