Twisted Senses Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Twisted Senses

If only to hear...
The sound of deafness...
With eyes wide shut …
And see blindness...

If only to taste...
The very last drops
Of life-sustaining
Poisoned blood...

If only to feel...
Life's lost touch...
A heartless soul's
Last embrace...

If only to touch Death...
And feel new-born Life...
To laugh at Satan...
And cry with Jesus...
