Twins

Bronze hair, dark eyes
Ochre skin like clay
Sins, the twins
Staring like vampires
Drunk of blood
Silent whisper
Mouth guilty body
seeking pleasure
Innocent womb
Shameless mind
Horrifying thoughts
Life’s and souls
Land of vine and shine
Snow in the spring
melting away
Oracles of lust and greed
Wild like weed
River against stream
Love and dreams

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
