Twin Towers Gone Poem by Dorsey Baker

Twin Towers Gone

we see the planes
as they fly
right into the walls
and we watch
the twin towers burn
down
so many people
caught in the flames
so many lives lost
death toll cost
on a very high scale
when the planes hit
in the smoke the towers
come crashing down
every thing is black
in the darkness
a voice
begins to scream
in a nightmare
words don't mean
what they mean
now no longer
the twin towers stand
and being gone
but forget
we never can!
