Twilight Shining Poem by Rebecca Tidball

Twilight Shining

A thousand million times to behold thee
Yet the the last is just as the first
Amidst the remembrance of this moment
Just as if I had never had time in between the remembering

Faintly and so close
Like a gentle warm Summer's breeze is how you make yourself known
The lion and the lamb
The dragon and his butterfly

The light and the dark
Resounding with harmonious echoes of eons remembered
Just again to be forgotten when we must take our leavel
The silence is getting so loud I can feel it in my chest

Shining briefly quietly
Forever aglow with the embers that will never extinguish
For this fire is eternal and of no humans flame
A torch anchored into the matrix of your name
A winding road is traveled and will be yet again
The fire will keep sparking until the flames begin

Homeward Bound Is Such A Lovely Thought!
