Turnbull The Poet

Rating: 5.0

To send the strongest possible message
from the rulers of the Representatives
to who seek to come here by boat
with criminal gangs of people-smugglers,

the scapegoats of Nauru and Manus Island,
all 1300 and more,
who sought and were sent there,

will never set foot in Australia,
not even for business purposes,
nor for tourist fare.

Cruelty is so sad. This poem is entirely thought provoking. We hope for peace and happiness always.....10
