Tsunami Poem by Sharad Chandra

Tsunami

Rating: 4.5

Some corpses lie motionless
on the shore kissing the sand
where shells used to be
others float unobtrusively
on the breaking waves
some lap against the tangled beds
of water hyacinths -
most
are mutilated limbs
slashed heads missing
