Trust Me Or Let Me Be Poem by Jacob Valentine

Trust Me Or Let Me Be

so you say you dont believe me
well i want to move our
it feels odd being without
trust in this house
i wanna rise to the occasion
take life by its hair
if you let me go ill graduate
from college i swear
i guess its my looks of which you dislike
so what i look like father
now punish me for riding a bike
i just went to visit my dad
whom i havent seen in weeks
your yellin like i left the country
but its four blocks down the street
i knew you didnt like me
i could tell from the start
so without like there is no love
leaving no room for a heart
you built a heart less monster
that should be put away for good
and when i say put away
i just dont mean take him out the hood

Like a glass of muddy water, where the dirt hasn't settled.
