In this time of dread and terror
When all we know is pain and fear
There is one solid foundation
For those willing to hear
Believe, please believe
In this unfailing haven
When all is dark, He'll help us see
There is only one salvation

Trust in His Holy Power
Trust in His boundless love
Trust in His perfect plan
Trust in the Atoning Blood

Put not your faith in the world 
Not in some earthly pleasures
Not in exalted leaders
Overpaid celebrities 
Not in champion prize fighters
Not in gold or luxuries
Not in stature, rank or class
Your degrees and PhDs

Believe in the crucifixion
Believe He triumphed over death
Believe in His resurrection
That He's coming back again

Believe
