Tribute Poem by Thirteen Tears

Tribute

Rating: 5.0

life
such a precious thing
taken away
for the quibbles of man
a shot in the darkness
a piercing scream
a chill to the bones
this life he leaves
for his country he died
for the family he loved
for the freedom of all
and justice to men
he led a life
filled full of joy
his parents loved him
and now cry in their sleep
he fought for the land of the brave and the strong
he wore a smile on his face and with all got along
he loved them
he died for their freedom.

chrisis, chaos
the buildings fall
the bombs go off
killing all
the soldiers abroad
the citizens home
he fought to save you
let that be known.
