Trapped

Why, is what I ask of thee
Please tell me...
I have not come to understand thy reasons,
Why must my soul suffer so
Why must my heart ache,
For I've been abused
By those who show two faces,
Emotionally shut out
Chained down with depression and lost love
Kept in the cold showdows
of their hell-bound ways,
Trapped, with no way out.
