Trapped Poem by Random Rainbows

Trapped

It's twelve o'clock in the middle of the night
I cannot see there is no light
I'm sitting down I cannot move
My hands are tied to a ceiling groove
Sweat is dripping down my face
I hear a sound my heart quickens pace
I start to struggle try to break free
Why on Earth is this happening to me?
I start to sweat more and more
I hear some footsteps at the door
I close my eyes and start to cry
I want to pray but don't know why
The door swings open light floods in
I open my eyes just to close them again
The footsteps come closer they're right by my side
I could not scream no matter how hard I tried
A man's voice pulled me from my trance
I jerked away from his authoritive stance
He tries to assure me it's all okay
He's here to save me and his name is Ray
My ropes start jerking I hear a crack
They jerk some more something hits my back
The man named Ray then sits me up
He offers me water from a white plastic cup
I finish it off he offers me more
I say, 'no thankyou my throat is sore'
He picks me up to see if I can walk
My legs are weak I can't manage a stalk
He picks me up into his arms
He is very strong one of his many charms
We walk out of the door my conciousness new
I look at my feet I am missing a shoe
So much noise and too much light
For a moment I lost my sight
My eyes adjust I see his face
He has to be my saving grace
The doctor has come to take me away
He said, 'Sir, are you okay? '
The bed starts moving we hear a loud bang
Men shouting words in forign slang
These words I did not understand
The man named Ray then takes my hand
'Everything will be okay this I promise you
We will do everthing that's in our power to do'
I hear gunshots and turn my head
On my right a man lay dead
They put me in the ambulance and turn the sirens on
I close my eyes and smile wide all my fears are gone
Something sticky hit my face it felt a lot like mud
I look up at the ceiling and find that it is blood
My heart starts racing my mind running wild
It seems I'm having a nightmare like a little child
How'd I wind up back here tied up in this room?
I was having a rescuing dream is all I can assume
Nothing happened that saved my life it was all a dream
I opened my mouth as far as I could so I could try to scream
The door swung open a man walked through and held a gun to me
I cannot see his face at all there is nothing I can see
He said, 'I'm sorry, but this must be done, ' he then removes his mask
'You have to leave this dreaded Earth, my son, you can rest at last'
