my mom said dont be so quick to give your love away
cause at that same intersection pain has the right-a-way
so yield before your rehabilitate your life away
caustious when i ride this wave
cause giving it your all is dangerous in this day and age
hard book to read stuburn when flip the page
hidding my feelings in this laughter when its really rage
different in so many ways
not what your use to i heard you say
different places taught in different ways
changed my path during the darkened days
laying up at night i hear my mama as she prays
when i was fighting my blackend ways
cause i was fighting off my demons for a reasons at an early age
someone said 'love is for suckas' well allow me to be sucked away
cause love is the only thing that keeps me sain
umbrella when it starts to rain
my heart is big but even it has its growing pains
especially running at a pace when positions change
trying to grab you but it seems that your out of range
hearts are scratched disks so dont play the game
tears can fall to the sink but let love be the drain
