Towards Light From Darkness Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Oh dear soul, oh dear son of God,
You have woken up at this midnight,
Seeing a dream and hearing a call,
A call given by midnight stars
That has amazed you to step ahead,
In search of mystic light at night,
To overcome the darkness of life
And to gain true wisdom given by God,
From darkness towards light of mercy
Your journey is started of course.

You have marched ahead carefully,
Life goes up and down in rhythm,
Like you go up and come down
In a staircase daily as you walk,
Carefully you put your every step
Not to slip or fall down from track,
Wearing your black slippers you step,
You step towards light reflected
By many stars who appear in the sky,
To search the true joy given by God,
Oh dear soul, carefully you proceed!

A clear reflection of tender light
With golden appearance it illuminates,
Your every step should be victorious,
God's grace motivates you to lead.
No more night will be obstacle for you
In deep silence of night you will perceive
This golden light will empower you
And you will feel this wonderful universe,
In this deep night you do not bother at all,
Towards light you walk on carefully!
