Touch© Poem by Roann Mendriq

Touch©

The breezes gently touch my arms,
Sun beams kiss my pale, wan cheeks;
I am enchanted by the charms
of sweet whispers the wind speaks.

The sea waves tease my tired toes,
Raindrops soothe, refresh my hair;
The evening mist kisses my nose,
with thorough tenderness and care.

The music of the birds at noon
sing to me of sky and sea;
The pearl drop rays of every moon,
passionately gaze at me.

Why must I hunger for one touch?
when I'm being gently touched so much!
